What Does Konica Minolta Do?

Konica Minolta manufacture business and industrial digital imaging products, including copiers, laser printers, multi-functional devices (MFDs) and digital print systems for the production printing market.

Along with the actual copiers/presses themselves, Konica Minolta's software is also at the forefront of innovation. Their Managed Print Service is called Optimised Print Services. Its goal is to increase efficiency within the company's printing and scanning areas.

As part of the bespoke solution, it gives maximum data security at an affordable price and makes so much sense from an environmental point of view. Optimised Print Services take care of all the mundane parts of photocopier ownership. Toner is automatically re-ordered when one is changed by the end user and it also offers monthly meter readings. It's all aimed at allowing you to focus on your business and not the printer.

Konica Minolta's Japanese Influence

Konica Minolta is a Japanese technology company headquartered in Tokyo, but with offices in 49 countries worldwide, it always feels like we're dealing with a local company. Their network of Konica Minolta dealers and resellers provide an extremely high level of support to new and existing customers.

During the last 20 years' plus of working with them, we've found that the Japanese philosophy Kaizen runs through their business in all areas. If your Japanese isn't as good as it should be, the word Kaizen means 'change for better', or the recent business translation of 'continuous improvement'. One word could not describe the company better and as a chosen Konica Minolta partner, we aim to achieve the same. More info.

History of Konica Minolta

BBT has been working alongside Konica Minolta since our company began in 1995 and over this time, we have forged a close relationship with them.

While they started a few years before us (actually back in the late 1800s), their first copier, the Minolta Copymaster, wasn't launched until 1960. It would be another 11 years before they launched their first plain paper copier, the U-Bix480. So as you can see, they've always been evolving and offering digital imaging products ahead of their time.
